Set in the impoverished East End of London during the 1950s and 1960s, this period drama follows a group of dedicated midwives as they navigate their way through the challenges and triumphs of childbirth and maternal care. With its compelling storylines, exceptional acting, and attention to historical detail, Call the Midwife not only entertains but also sheds light on important social issues such as poverty, women’s rights, and healthcare reforms. A Baby Story (1998 – 2010)
A Baby Story was a long-standing reality television series that followed parents through their pregnancies, deliveries, and postpartum experiences. I loved watching this series and I also hated watching this series. Also, I loved it because I love birth and sometimes women were shown having beautiful births, but hated it because it often portrayed the sad reality of obstetrics in America.
